Does anyone know what happened to Cruise Director Andy?
One thread on the dis said he left last Tues. for personal reasons. That can't be good. Suspect

hmmm I doubt we will ever know...did we ever find out what happened to the cruise staff guy "Q" from a while back? He seemed to be a favorite and then he too was poof gone@!

Has anyone heard anything else? Merkie and I just loved Andy. He seemed to show us everywhere we went. We had the opportunity to talk to him several times and he was wonderful. Merkie and I are still saying G'day to each other. I sure hope that he is back for our B2B cruises that we are taking with the 2 Amandas in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing

I haven't heard anything else about it. For him to leave right in the middle of a cruise, I figure he either got in trouble over something or had a family emergency. Now, I'm leaning toward got in trouble. You would think that if it was a family emergency they would have explained that to the cruisers who were on the ship. Hopefully, what ever he did was nothing serious. I really liked him and I like to think that I am pretty good judge of character.

I have to admit that after a few days of hearing his voice, I started to think of info-mercials. Do you remember a few years back how all the people on those commercials were from Aussie. It was getting on my nerves a little. But only over the PA systerm. I thought he was great at the shows and whatnot!

G'Day all! Merkie and I are still saying this. We loved him. I just can't believe that something has happened and no Diser knows what it was. It is being awefully hush hushed.

We where on the cruise that Q disappeared on. My guess is that the toilets have claimed them as victims to never be seen again.
